Informal cycle of seminars of the Nuclear Physics community of Padova and Legnaro
kindly supported by the Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia "G.Galilei"
As a service for the large community of nuclear physicists operating within the "Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia G.Galilei" of the University of Padova and within the sections of the INFN of Padova and Legnaro Laboratories, we wish to organize a permanent cycle of seminars with the following features:
- People: everybody is welcome, from students to Emeriti
- Topics: Experimental or Theoretical low-energy Nuclear Physics
- Focus: talks 1) on already established research; 2) on research that is in progress; 3) on projects for the future
- Level: from basics to technical. We welcome introductory talks, aimed at generating a common base of knowledge, followed by more technical discussions
- Format: 30 minutes for talk, the following informal discussion will be refreshed with tea and cookies
- Informal: we welcome discussion with the hope that it will foster new collaborations and new ideas
- Timeline: held regularly every one or two months, according to the calendar below
